The hardest comparison for me was Princess Di. I was working for Chanel at the time of her death, and we had the same hair. People would feel compelled to tell me how they were grieving, as was I. My hairdresser dyed my hair and re-shaped it so I would be left alone.
Being compared to the "funny" ladies was always a great compliment for me, although I always wished someone would compare me to a really gorgeous woman, but that never happened. The closest I ever got to that was Cher, I've been told that I remind people of her when she was first with Sonny.
Go figure.
