Where Did Everyone Go? Chanel. Blogging. Tissues, Lots & lots of tissues.

I blame the contents of this post on my cold, and take no responsibility for what follows:

I came across some beautiful images today on Bryanboy and Stylebubble. I pulled one from Susie's page, it's the awesome bag. As I was watching the Chanel video that Bryan posted, I started thinking about where my life has been and where it is now. I'm at a point now where I know that I will never again have the fabulous opportunities that I had when I was younger. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it's natural. My age is showing more and more all of the time, it's harder to do things that were never a challenge to me before. C'est la vie.
Most people that I meet today would never suspect how choc full my life has been with adventure, traveling, art, clothing, makeup, parties, ect., ect., ect. Looking back, I'm glad that I always put my children at the forefront of it all and chose the simple life......the really simple life.....ridiculously simple. And I have a very good man.
See that photo of me? That was 20 years ago, before Chanel, before Dior, before Entrecasteaux. I was content to be a "cheerleader" then, and I'm happy to be one now. But today, with my horrible cold, I'm feeling a little blue......a little isolated & removed. Stop crying, look, here's a tissue.

Shed some light, be brutally honest. And while you're at it, could you open up another box of tissues?
