Re-Post, Some of This is True. Happy Halloween

The Big Fish Story

I'm sitting here with my head and my heart in the right place. I thought that is where they were this morning, but they weren't.
When I woke up, it was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, Cute Hubby was snoring, and all was right with the world. I made some coffee and corn pancakes, to the delight of my sleepy family, and my heart felt full. As the compliments began to ensue, my head grew two sizes. Now my head was a little bigger than my heart, which made it somewhat difficult to balance while sitting at the breakfast table. No one seemed to notice.
I toddled around with my big head for the rest of the morning, stopping only to feed it compliments on my various domestic abilities. By the time I was ready for work, I could barely fit my big head out of the door. My heart had run for shelter in my throat.
Arriving at work, no one seemed to notice the big head, but they were all so used to seeing that kind of thing. Over the course of the workday, many things went horribly wrong, and the big head began to shrink. But...wait!! Now it was smaller than before, and still shrinking! The heart was still hiding in the throat somewhere, and would let out a little cooing noise which sounded like a pigeon with a bad cold. Now, the rest of the "big heads" would only halfway glance at my ever shrinking head, as it made their heads grow at a frightening rate. By the time the workday was done, my little head could barely be seen between my shoulders.
When Cute Hubby gave me a ride home, he related how frustrating his day had been, and I realized that his head was just as small as mine. I don't know how he managed to see over the steering wheel.
By the time we got home, both of our heads were back to their normal sizes, and our hearts were text messaging each other. That was nice. So....I decided to check on my blog, and low & behold, I had received some of the most beautiful messages from my blogger friends. My head instantly swelled, nearly knocking everything off of the desk. I got up and tried to go upstairs, but my ever growing head got caught in the hallway, leaving me wedged between two paintings of "Flowers in Spring". Cute Hubby ran for a crowbar to try to pry me loose.
Lets just pause here for a moment. Where is this Big Fish story going?
At that moment, when my ever swelling head was about to splinter the paneling on the wall, my heart, which was now hiding in my ear, heard the small soft laughter of the little girl who lives next door. She was talking and playing with her mother on their front porch. It was lovely.
My head released a foul air, causing Cute Hubby to drop the crowbar onto his foot. My feet, which had been dangling in midair, softly touched to the ground. My heart rushed back to it's resting place and I felt my hair brush against my neck. My head and heart were once again where they should be.
What could possibly be the moral of this bizarre tale? Well, since you are still here, I will tell you.

1. Never believe your own publicity.
2. Don't wait for your heart to loose it's voice before you listen to it.
3. Remember the power of love. And don't let it go to your head.

Haircuts Hair Styles

Some other great hair products that you may want to consider in your hair makeover are those products that work on the root of the hair and Healthy Hair Plus as well Nioxin both work on this with just about every product except the styling products that they manufacture. Products such as Root Food by Healthy Hair Plus and Vitamin shampoo as well as Hair Nutrition vitamins all work on feeding the root the nutrition that it needs to get hair healthy again and for many that is the key to getting rid of frizz. So many people think that hair frizz and split ends are just a hair problem but many times it is a root problem with the root not getting enough nutrition to sustain healthy growth and that will cause the hair to be much more fragile as it grows out of the scalp or medulla of the hair.

Video to Watch: Kapuso Christmas Station ID 2010 - "Isang Pagkilala sa Puso ng Pilipino Ngayong Pasko"

GMA-7 launches its Christmas Station ID for 2010 titled, "Isang Pagkilala sa Puso ng Pilipino Ngayong Pasko," a series of true-to-life inspiring stories. Meaning, there are three different GMA-7 Christmas Station IDs.

GMA-7's Christmas Station ID 2010 tell the real-life tales of Filipinos who, by sharing what they can, have made a difference in the lives of many. Starring in the vignettes are three of GMA-7's biggest Kapuso stars: Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera and Richard Gutierrez.

Richard Gutierrez plays Ed, a US immigrant based in Las Vegas, Nevada, whose heart remains very Filipino. With his wife, he personally packs balikbayan boxes with toys and school supplies and ships these at Christmas time to children in different provinces.

Marian Rivera portrays Mila, a woman who literally opens her home to the less fortunate. Mila welcomes the Season of Advent by selling Christmas decors in her garage. She uses the money she earns to prepare food and feed more than 200 families on New Year’s Eve.

Dingdong Dantes is cast as Jose, a modern day Christmas angel. Jose spends Christmas Eve going to different hospitals in Metro Manila, paying the bills of indigent patients unable to afford treatment. When the surprised families of these patients ask to thank him in person, they are told by hospital staffers that Jose has already left.

Shot in high-definition (HD) digital video technology, "Isang Pagkilala sa Puso ng Pilipino Ngayong Pasko," the 2010 GMA-7 Christmas ID is also slated to be shown in SM Cinemas.

TV Patrol World Update: Julius Babao and Karen Davila Out. Noli de Castro and Korina Sanchez In!

There will be some major major changes in the news department of ABS-CBN after the exit of Maria Ressa. The first casualty? TV Patrol World.

The news and current affairs bosses have talked to Julius Babao and Karen Davila that certain reformats will be made in TV Patrol and that certain personalities will be put in their place. Although they haven’t been directly assured, the evening slots of Bandila have been reserved for them.

So who are likely to go back to primetime news?

Since the old guards are back, it won’t be hard to understand the return of broadcasters-on-extended leaves Noli de Castro and Korina Sanchez to be back to work along with fellow old guard Ted Failon.

Although Kapamilyas may deny this but the move may be the network’s reaction to Willie Revillame’s show—which is fast closing in on TV Patrol’s ratings.

How will this impact on Julius’ and Karen’s careers? Oh well, they must have felt earlier on that they will be the sacrificial lambs in this whole circus. After all, ratings result is god in the television industry. But don’t you think they deserve better?

Short Hair Styles Boys

Growing out a short hair style can be one of the most frustrating and confidence zapping processes a girl can go through, I once heard that 70% of a girl’s confidence comes from her hair. Thus growing out a short hair cut over a period of a year can mean 365 bad hair days. As a hair guru this is one of the most common problems I face and I have to admit I have gone through this process myself, having gone from having a funky short hair cut that everyone loved, to looking like a prison escapee as the months of growing out progressed.

When the Wind is in Your Face, and the World is on Your Case, I Could Offer You My Warm Embrace, To Make You Feel My Love - Bob Dylan

There's no place like home, especially in autumn. Driving on a sunny day with Babyzilla looking out of the window from her car seat feels like heaven.

GLEE Season 2 'Rocky Horror Glee Show' Recap

The Glee kids are still minus Puck, but this week, things get horrific. Will is growing more and more jealous of Emma and Carl and their close relationship so he does what any lovestruck guy would do. He tries to make himself more appealing. Seeing that Emma and Carl have bonded over their love of Rocky Horror, he fibs that he’s been planning the school musical to be a production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Rachel volunteers herself and Finn to be Brad and Janet but Finn has never seen the show. He has no idea he has to be in his underwear and he’s insecure about his body. Aww :( .

Kurt refuses to be the transvestite Frank n Furter (lulz) and opts to take on Riff Raff instead, while the girls share the other parts. Sam willingly takes on the part of Rocky so he’s able to once again spend the majority of the episode shirtless. I’m not entirely complaining. Local news managers encourage Sue to do an expose about the musical’s inappropriate nature and she gets her hands dirty pretending to help out. Seeing that the group doesn’t have Frank n Furter, Carl offers to help. Will insists he auditions for the part and he gives my favorite performance of the night. John Stamos is HOT ya’ll. Santana is practically pouncing on him during his number. Not willing to rock the fishnets, Mercedes takes the role of Frank n Furter and Carl gets Eddie. Anyone else a bit depressed at the tease of John Stamos performing in drag? :(

Will becomes frustrated at how well Carl is doing and asks Emma to be costume designer so he can spend more time with her. If that isn’t enough, when Sam is uncomfortable in the teeny tiny gold shorts, Will decides to take the part of Rocky for himself. Yuck. He asks Emma to help him rehearse and they perform an incredibly awkward version of Touch a Touch a Touch Me. It’s creeptastic and kind of gross. Why hasn’t Will been fired yet? Carl confronts Will about him making moves on Emma and Will is forced to admit he is doing Rocky Horror for himself and not the kids. Worried he may be risking being allowed to have Glee Club at all, he cancels the musical and the kids perform Time Warp for themselves.
