She worked with singer/songwriter Jake Coco to record this new cover of the Lady Antebellum hit "Need You Now." It was recorded at Snuffy Walden's studio where she and Jake mixed it. Sara recently guest-starred on the hit show Glee where she played the on-screen guitarist.

Sara Niemietz joins the cast of the of the hit sensation Glee! She will be playing the on-screen guitarist. Glee premieres Tuesday, September 21st on FOX. IMTA alum singer and actress Sara Niemietz will be presenting an award tonight at New Music Weekly Awards at The Avalon Theater in Hollywood, California. She is also nominated for Best New Artist of the YEAR in the AC/ Hot Adult Contemporary category- which is a huge honor and accomplishment.
Sara competed at IMTA in 2000 when she was 7 years old. She has gone on to have a very busy career acting and singing. Sara has had guest apperances on both Providence and Gilmore Girls. She wrote and sang I'm On My Way the end song for the children’s movie, Barbie's The Princess and the Pauper. Sara was picked out of thousands of girls to play the part of Young Helen in the Broadway play Hollywood Arms by Carol Burnett, which is based on her novel One More Time. She also had a leading role in the muscial 13 which about 13 thirteen year olds and debuted at the Mark Taper Theater in Los Angeles. She played Pamela in a play called Pamela'sFirst Musical based on a novel by Wendy Wasserstein which ran at Lincoln Center in New York city. Her first role in a major motion picture was as Polly in the acclaimed film Akeelah and the Bee. She recently released a CD of her own music called Without a Net and can be heard signing on the CDs Sara Niemietz Live AtThe Cat Club, on the scary soundtrack for The Exorcism and on Teen Witch.
In 2002, Sara returned to IMTA to sing during the Award's Night. It was the first IMTA Convention in New York since 9/11 and Sara sang "God Bless America". Tune into Fox Friday night to see Brittany Curran in an encore presentation of 13 Going on 30. This fun-filled movie is about a young girl who after being embarrassed at her 13th birthday wishes she could hide until she is 30 and her wish comes true. Brittany stars as one of the Six Chicks in this hilarious movie. She will also be guest-starring on tonight's episode of the hit Disney series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.
Brittany competed at IMTA and signed with Diane Hardin and Judy Savage. She has had several guest spots on such popular television shows as Shark, The Young and the Restless, Drake and Josh, PowerRangers and Mad TV. Her movie roles include Akeelah and the Bee which also stars another IMTA alum Sara Niemietz . Brittany has also been in various print ads including KFC, Kraft Post Cereal, AT & T, Suave and Chevy. She is currently filming the comedy Diamond Dog Caper and just wrapped The Haunting Hour Volume One: Don't Even Think About it, Zip, The Uninvited, and The Adventures of Food Boy.
