Jessica White is the New Face of Maybelline!

IMTA alum Jessica White has been named Maybelline's newest spokesperson!

From the official Maybelline Press Release:

Jessica is elated to be under contract with Maybelline New York alongside one of her favorite models of all time Christy Turlington. "Maybelline products are a part of every woman's life and I am so honored to represent the African American community for a brand I have grown up with," says Jessica.

Jessica competed at IMTA in 1999 and signed with a modeling agency. She moved to Paris soon after competing at IMTA. She has modeled for Gap, Chloe, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren's Polo, Covergirl and was featured in five Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues. Most recently Jessica appeared in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on CBS.

The Maybelline campaigns (television and print ads) featuring Jessica White will begin running in February 2008.

She's on location now on Kaanapali Beach, Maui, Hawaii! Jessica White is shooting for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition! Sports Illustrated Arash Markazi has the scoop about the shoot in an exclusive article for SI.com.

Markazi says,"This must be a dream, but the salt water crashing against my face and into my eyes quickly reminds me that it's not. As I'm floating in the water off the shores of Kaanapali Beach, Jessica White is running toward me in a neon pink two-piece bikini." The article talks about the shoots, taking place now for the famed February issue!

IMTA alumni Jessica White has become a Sports Illustrated favorite model. This makes the fifth year Jessica will appear! Jessica competed at IMTA in 1999. She is signed with Elite Model Management and has an exclusive Maybelline contract. She also appeared on the Tyra Banks Show. Watch this clip as Tyra calls Jessica the face of the future!

Jessica White in Sports Illustrated!

IMTA alum and Supermodel Jessica White appears in the wildly popular Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Jessica White has been featured for four years now of Sports Illustrated! In 2005, she became the first African-American model to appear in three consecutive editions of the annual feature. This year she shot on location in Los Angeles with photographer Anne Menke. She was also chosen for a special feature "Models and Musicians" and was photographed with rock stars Gnarls Barkley.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is well-known for showcasing the most elite working models in the world. Jessica appreciates the honor it is to be a part of it. She says, "I've always wanted to do Sports Illustrated because it has made superstars out of all these girls and just to have this opportunity is amazing."

Jessica attended the New York 1999 IMTA Convention when she was 14 and has since been featured on international magazine covers and in numerous advertising campaigns and editorial layouts.
