Did you enter the Cold Read Competition? For some talent contestants, this is the Competition that makes them the most nervous. Relax! Your Cold Read does not need to be memorized. You'll need to glance at your script and pick up as much of the line as possible. This will enable you to have eye contact with the professional actor you'll be reading opposite. Show your reactions with your facial expressions as you listen to the other actor read his/her lines.

Adrianne portrayed Tyra Collette, a small town girl that intertwines in the small town drama. The cast has included fellow IMTA alumi, Zach Roerig and Jeremy Sumpter. Adrianne is also currently working a new movie titled Red Dawn!

In 2001, Adrianne competed at IMTA. "It was amazing. I love IMTA! I'm so sad it's over," said Adrianne in an interview with the IMTA Video Crew. Since IMTA, Adrianne has been working on the sets of television shows, major motion pictures and on Broadway!

Sean Harju competed at IMTA in 2006 and was the 1st runner up for Male Model of the Year. He has worked for Dolce & Gabbana, Donatella Versace, Thome Brown, Karl Lagerfeld and Narciso Rodriguez. He has also been featured in the magazines Zero, Surface, and German and Taiwan GQ. Sean was in numerous shows during New York's fashion week as well as the very prestigious Calvin Klein's Milan show!

IMTA Hall of Fame

Jessica Biel gained her stardom from her role as Mary Camden on Seventh Heaven. Since she attended IMTA in 1994, she has been continuously on the television and big screen. With films such as The Illusionist, I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry, and Next... there isn't a role Jessica can't take on.

It won't be long before Jessica hits the theater screens near you starring in the films Nailed, The Tall Man, The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, and Playing the Field, all due for release in the upcoming year.

Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman!

Check out IMTA alum Adrianne Palicki in her new role as Wonder Woman. She has been cast in the title role in the NBC pilot which will be directed by hit-maker David E. Kelley. The Hollywood Reporter said, "He says he knew she was right for the role when she stood up and looked him in the eye during her audition.
'I knew during the course of the conversation that this was Wonder Woman,' he says. 'I just knew it. I had an instinctive feeling that this was her. So then she read. And she was. And she is.'!"

The shot above is the first look at her in character and it is generating a lot of positive industry buzz! Her photo as Wonder Woman was a leading topic for People, Google News and the original source Entertainment Weekly!

Adrianne competed at IMTA in 2001. She also stars as Holly Rocket in Elektra Luxx, a sequel to the movie Women in Trouble which is in theaters now. Adrianne Palicki stars in Elektra Luxx!

Adrianne Palicki stars in Elektra Luxx, a sequel to the movie Women in Trouble. Adrianne plays Holly Rocket in the film, opening this weekend!

Adrianne starred on the hit television series, Friday Night Lights. Adrianne portrayed Tyra Collette, a small town girl that intertwines in the small town drama. The cast has included fellow IMTA alumni, Zach Roerig and Jeremy Sumpter. Adrianne is also currently working on a new movie titled Red Dawn and the highly anticipated Wonder Woman.

Adrianne Palicki is Wonder Woman!

IMTA's Adrianne Palicki has landed the coveted lead role in Wonder Woman in a remake of popular 70's show. Entertainment Weekly says Adrianne ,"looks spot-on perfect for the part!" Warner Bros. Television, which will be producing the series, noted that Palicki's version of the superhero will be revamped from Linda Carter's potrayal, and updated for the modern age. Warner Brother's released the following statement:

"The series pilot is a reinvention of the iconic DC Comics title in which Wonder Woman -- a/k/a Diana Prince -- is a vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life," the statement reads.

Adrianne Palicki on Criminal Minds Tonight!

IMTA alum Adrianne Palicki will guest-star in the episode "The Thirteenth Step" on the hit show Criminal Minds tonight! The show will feature Adrianne as Sydney Manning, half of a murderous couple who are on a killing and crime spree.

In 2001, Adrianne competed at IMTA. "It was amazing. I love IMTA! I'm so sad it's over," said Adrianne in an interview with the IMTA Video Crew.

Adrianne has returned to star on the hit television series, Friday Night Lights where she portrays Tyra Collette, a small town girl who intertwines in the town drama. Adrianne Palicki, IMTA 03, is on a new Fox series called Midland. According THR: "A week after landing the "Spider-Man" reboot, director Marc Webb has been tapped to helm his first pilot, Fox's "Midland."...Written by "The Beaver" scribe Kyle Killen, the 20th TV-produced "Midland" is a soap set against the backdrop of an oil business that centers on a polygamist living a double life."

Adrianne Palicki in Women in Trouble Now in Theaters!

In her first major film role, NY03 IMTA alum Adrianne Palicki is receiving rave reviews as Holly Rocket, “a not-too-bright adult industry newcomer” who is “is both hilarious and sympathetic” in the film Women in Trouble. Cinematical.com says Adrianne “manages to walk away with every single scene she appears in.” And Efilmcritic.com agrees that Adrianne gives “a really wonderful performance.” The film also stars Carla Gugino as Elektra Luxx, Simon Baker, Garcelle Beauvais, Connie Britton, Josh Brolin, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Sarah Clarke, Marley Shelton and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The film was and written and directed by Sebastian Gutierrez, who also penned Gothika and Snakes on a Plane.

Adrainne's busy film schedule will limit her on-screen time this season in the highly acclaimed TV series Friday Night Lights. Drew Bell on CSI: Miami!

Did you catch CSI: Miami last night? Drew Bell guest-starred as Steve Emerson in the CBS hit crime drama series in the episode titled "Collateral Damage." Drew was amazing as a surviving but injured member of the seemingly normal family that is targeted by terrorists in a Miami restaurant. You can see the explosive opening scene above!

IMTA INSIDER INFO: Last week's all-new CSI: Miami "Dead on Arrival" guest-starred another IMTA alum, Adrianne Palicki! It was the ratings leader for the primetime slot!

Drew competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2001 where he was seen and scouted by many agents and mangers who were impressed with his acting, dancing and modeling potential. Drew Tyler Bell plays Thomas Forrester on the daytime drama The Bold & The Beautiful. Drew has been a recurring character since 2004. You may have also seeen Drew guest-starring on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation recently. He played the role of Max Stanton in the episode "Deep Fried and Minty Fresh" which aired first aired in February, 2009. IMTA alum Adrianne Palicki and her fans have 2 new seasons and 26 more episodes in their future! Friday Night Lights was officially renewed! According to Variety, NBC and DirecTV agreed to a fourth and fifth season, which will be the same arrangement as this season's, where DirecTV airs the episodes first, commercial-free, before they air on NBC. IMTA INSIDER INFO: Two other IMTA alumni starred on the show this season; Zach Roerig as Cash and Jeremy Sumpter as J.D. McCoy!

The FNL Season Finale was also very well-reviewed by Ken Tucker, the Entertainment Weekly television critic who said,"What a humdinger of a finale we got for a superlative season of Friday Night Lights. Could things have been more tense, emotional, or funny? Coming on the heels of the announcement that we'll get two more seasons of FNL thanks to the agreement between DirecTV and NBC, that rarest of things has occurred: a relatively low-rated but unusually high-quality show has been saved from cancellation."
