

Check out IMTA alum Adrianne Palicki in her new role as Wonder Woman. She has been cast in the title role in the NBC pilot which will be directed by hit-maker David E. Kelley. The Hollywood Reporter said, "He says he knew she was right for the role when she stood up and looked him in the eye during her audition.
"The series pilot is a reinvention of the iconic DC Comics title in which Wonder Woman -- a/k/a Diana Prince -- is a vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life," the statement reads.
Adrianne first made news when she competed at IMTA in 2001! She attracted tons of agency and manager attention for her amazing performances in her IMTA modeling and acting competitions. In an interview with the IMTA Video Crew, she said:

Her latest project to hit theaters was the horror fantasy Legion! Adrianne recently wrapped the film Red Dawn, a remake of the 1984 action adventure about the U.S. being invaded by Russian and Chinese soldiers.
IMTA alum Adrianne Palicki will guest-star in the episode "The Thirteenth Step" on the hit show Criminal Minds tonight! The show will feature Adrianne as Sydney Manning, half of a murderous couple who are on a killing and crime spree.

Adrianne plays Tyra Collette, the popular "bad girl", and a central and riveting character. Adrianne is part of the original cast from season one of this amazing television show. In season 3, two other IMTA alums joined the cast: Zach Roerig (IMTA 2003) as Cash and Jeremy Sumpter (IMTA 2000) as lead character J.D. McCoy! Zach is also currently in a lead role on The Vampire Diaries where he plays Matt Honeycutt.

Adrianne is starring as Holly Rocket, a troubled woman in the new film Women in Trouble. The movie is scheduled for release November 13, 2009. Adrianne is also working on a new thriller called Breaking the Girl. This film is going to into production in the Spring in Canada and is directed by Jaime Babbit. The story revolves around college students who make a pact to murder each others enemies. She has also signed on to have a lead role in the 2010 remake of the 80's hit, Red Dawn where she will play Toni Mason. IMTA alum Adrianne Palicki and her fans have 2 new seasons and 26 more episodes in their future! Friday Night Lights was officially renewed! According to Variety, NBC and DirecTV agreed to a fourth and fifth season, which will be the same arrangement as this season's, where DirecTV airs the episodes first, commercial-free, before they air on NBC.
