Two IMTA alum's films now out on DVD!!

IMTA alum Regine Nehy's new dramatic feature film Lakeview Terrace is now out on DVD! This movie is about an interracial couple who moves into a new house in Los Angeles. Their next door neighbor is a single dad and a Los Angeles Policeman, played by Samuel L. Jackson. He starts stalking and harassing them. Regine plays Samuel L. Jackson's daughter, Celia Turner, in this suspenseful thriller.

Regine competed at IMTA in New York of 2000. She starred as Jacquie in the MTV film Super Sweet Sixteen: The Movie. She also starred in the the film Pride about a swim team overcoming numerous obstacles to become state championship . She has appeared in many projects such as: Fighting the Odds: The Marilyn Gambrell Story, Grey's Anatomy, Lincoln Heights and Boot Camp.




IMTA alum Haley Bennett's movie College is also now out on DVD! Haley competed at the 2001 IMTA Convention where she received a lot of attention from the agents and managers who were there scouting for new talent. She starred in the thriller The Haunting of Molly Hartley with Chace Crawford. Haley co-starred in the hugely popular romantic comedy Marley and Me with Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson. She also starred in Music and Lyrics and in the feature film She Lived.

Haley Bennett in College in Theaters Tonight!

Haley Bennett's movie College is in theaters today. This humorous coming to age film is about a high school student who after breaking up with his girlfriend has to be pushed to attend the freshman orientation weekend at Fairmont University where they both planned on going. Haley stars as Kendall along side Josh and Drake star Drake Bell. The movie is written by Deb Hagen and Dan Callahan and directed by Adam Ellison.

Haley competed at the 2001 IMTA Convention where she received alot of attention from the agents and managers who were there scouting for new talent. She is starring in the upcoming thriller The Haunting of Molly Hartley with Chace Crawford. The expected release for this film in October 31st. Haley is in post production on the upcoming romantic comedy Marley and Me co-starring with Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson. She was featured in the May issue of Nylon magazine's "Young Hollywood Issue" and was named "The Future of Film" along with thirty other rising actors and actresses. She has starred in the wildly popular Music and Lyrics where she sang and the scary film She Lived.

Haley Bennett named the Future of Film by NYLON magazine!

Nylon magazine's "Young Hollywood Issue" for May 2008 features IMTA alum Haley Bennett! She is named "The Future of Film" along with thirty other rising actors and actresses. During her interview, she talked about her upcoming comedic film College as well as the thriller She Lived. She's also working on a movie with inspiration from the book, Marley & Me, co-starring with Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. As for her character in the film, it is unlike any other she's done before. She excitedly explained, "I might have blue hair in it. I'm hope I do. Fingers crossed!"

Haley competed at the 2001 IMTA Convention where she met agents Mara Santino and Ryan Daly. Here's what Haley had to say about her IMTA experience:

“I definitely would have not been at this point and had this much background and confidence if it were not for my IMTA experience years ago. The training and interest was essential for the beginning stages of the construction for the backbone of my career and future.”

Haley Bennett in She Lived

Haley Bennett just wrapped the dramatic thriller movie She Lived which is scheduled for release later this year. She plays Molly a 17 year old girl who was stabbed by her mother and although she has recovered phsyically she is still grappling with the psychological damage. Her father moves her to a new school to try to help her recover from her past trauma.

Haley, who competed at IMTA in 2001, made her feature film debut in the wildly popular movie Music and Lyrics with Hugh Grant. The Music and Lyrics soundtrack is available in the iTunes store and has tracks sung by Haley. She sings "Buddha's Delight," "Entering Bootytown," "Slam," and does a duet with Hugh Grant entitled "Way Back Into Love." From the dance melody in "Slam" to the love ballad of "Way Back Into Love," Haley demonstrates her true musical talent for audiences of all ages to enjoy.
