Haley Bennett Filming Outlaw Country

IMTA alum Haley Bennett is filming a new crime thriller called Outlaw Country. The story revolves around a Nashville family who is involved in organized crime, the music business, love and hope. Haley stars as Anabel Lee.

Haley competed at IMTA in 2001. After competing at IMTA, Haley went on to star in a new movie called The Hole 3D. It's a 3D thriller about two brothers who find a strange hole in the basement of their house. The hole is the passageway to their worst nightmares and scary thoughts! This horror movie is directed by Joe Dante and Haley plays Julie Campbell.

IMTA Alum Haley Bennet in Horror Film Premiere!


Haley Bennett who competed at IMTA in 2001 is starring in a new movie called The Hole. The feature film is premiering in Italy today at the Venice Film Festival!! It's a 3-D thriller about two brothers who find a strange hole in the basement of their house. The hole is the passageway to their worst nightmares and scary thoughts. This horror movie is directed by Joe Dante and Haley plays Julie Campbell!

Haley Bennet in Marley and Me now out on DVD!

IMTA alumni Haley Bennett's box office smash hit, Marley & Me is now out on DVD! Haley plays Lisa in this sweet romantic comedy. Twentieth Century Fox issued a wire press when the film was released stating,"Marley & Me Brings Home a Record Breaking $14.75 Million on Christmas Day-- Unleashes Motion Picture History with Biggest Christmas Day Opening Ever!" That title was won when the film hit the theaters in December and now you can buy it on DVD!




Haley competed at the 2001 IMTA Convention where she was noticed by several agents and managers who were there scouting for new talent. Her first big movie was Music and Lyrics where she acted and sang! She starred in the The Haunting of Molly Hartley with Chace Crawford, and in the comedy College! She is in post-production on The Hole, which is expected for release in 2010, where she plays Julie Campbell. She also portrays Charlotte in the film Arcadia Lost which is expected for release this year!!

Haley Bennett in The Haunting of Molly Hartley released on DVD Today!!

IMTA alum Haley Bennett plays the title role in the horror movie The Haunting of Molly Hartley which out on DVD today! She plays a teenage girl, who on the eve of her 18th birthday, discovers that her parents made a pact with the devil to save her life. When the devil comes to collect, she must figure out how she can save herself. The movie is directed by Micky Lidell and also stars Chace Crawford.
Haley competed at IMTA in 2001 where she wowed the agents and managers who were at IMTA scouting for new talent. Haley was also part of the star-studded cast of the holiday event movie Marley & Me! The cast featured Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson as the leads in the romantic comedy. Her first big movie was Music and Lyrics where she acted and sang! Haley is in post-production on a new film called Arcadia Lost. She is currently working on a new thriller called The Hole where she portrays the character Julie Campbell. This scary movie is due out in 2010!

Two IMTA alum's films now out on DVD!!

IMTA alum Regine Nehy's new dramatic feature film Lakeview Terrace is now out on DVD! This movie is about an interracial couple who moves into a new house in Los Angeles. Their next door neighbor is a single dad and a Los Angeles Policeman, played by Samuel L. Jackson. He starts stalking and harassing them. Regine plays Samuel L. Jackson's daughter, Celia Turner, in this suspenseful thriller.

Regine competed at IMTA in New York of 2000. She starred as Jacquie in the MTV film Super Sweet Sixteen: The Movie. She also starred in the the film Pride about a swim team overcoming numerous obstacles to become state championship . She has appeared in many projects such as: Fighting the Odds: The Marilyn Gambrell Story, Grey's Anatomy, Lincoln Heights and Boot Camp.




IMTA alum Haley Bennett's movie College is also now out on DVD! This humorous coming of age film is about a high school student who after breaking up with his girlfriend has to be pushed to attend the freshman orientation weekend at Fairmont University where they both planned on going. Haley stars as Kendall along side Josh and Drake star Drake Bell.

Haley Bennett Update!

IMTA alum Haley Bennett is preparing to start work on a new thriller called The Hole. This scary movie is about two brothers who find a mysterious hole in their basement. Upon exploration, they find out it goes to the darkest corridors of their worst dreams and fears. Haley plays the role of Julie. The film is directed by Joe Dante who directed Gremlins, Piranha and The Howling. It is rumored that the film will be shot in 3-D and is scheduled to be shot on location in Vancouver!

Haley is in post-production on the new film called Arcadia Lost. According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Nick Nolte, Haley Bennett and Carter Jenkins face a Greek holiday tragedy in the indie coming-of-age-drama Arcadia Lost." Bennett and Jenkins play step-siblings whose first family trip is cut short by a car crash. With their parents dead, the stunned teens roam the Greek countryside and befriend an expatriate vagabond (Nolte) who leads them to a mysterious spiritual ceremony."

Recently, Haley starred in the Greg Laswell's video for his hit remake of "Girls Just Want to Have Fun." Check out her performance here:

IMTA alum Grace Thorsen stars in the comedy horror, My Name is Bruce. Grace plays the lead female role, Kelly, in the movie about a monster who is killing people in a small mining town in Oregon. Grace won Actress of the Year at the IMTA convention in Los Angeles, January 2007. My Name is Bruce will be screened in New York City Halloween weekend with a Q & A session with Bruce Campbell. IMTA alum Mika Boorem is guest-starring on tonight's episode of Ghost Whisperer. Season 4 Episode 5 titled 'Bloodline". Ghost Whisperer is the Halloween primetime show on CBS. In this episode, Mika plays a murdered athletic teenager who is haunting a family that is not her own. Since attending IMTA in New York in 1994, Mika has guest starred on various television shows including The Drew Carey Show, Ally McBeal, Touched By An Angel, and Dawson's Creek.

Haley Bennett in Arcadia Lost


IMTA alum Haley Bennett is in a new film called Arcadia Lost. According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Nick Nolte, Haley Bennett and Carter Jenkins face a Greek holiday tragedy in the indie coming-of-age-drama Arcadia Lost." Bennett and Jenkins play step-siblings whose first family trip is cut short by a car crash. With their parents dead, the stunned teens roam the Greek countryside and befriend an expatriate vagabond (Nolte) who leads them to a mysterious spiritual ceremony. Director Phedon Papamichael, best known as the cinematographer of Sideways and Walk the Line, is filming David Ariniello's screenplay in his home country with producer Kelly Thomas."

Haley Bennett in College in Theaters Tonight!

Haley Bennett's movie College is in theaters today. This humorous coming to age film is about a high school student who after breaking up with his girlfriend has to be pushed to attend the freshman orientation weekend at Fairmont University where they both planned on going. Haley stars as Kendall along side Josh and Drake star Drake Bell. The movie is written by Deb Hagen and Dan Callahan and directed by Adam Ellison.

IMTA alum Haley Bennett is starring in the new thriller The Haunting of Molly Hartley. She co-stars with Chace Crawford and AnnaLynne McCord. The story is about Molly, a seventeen year old played by Haley, who moves to a new town to start over after her mother has a horrific psychotic break. She starts attending a private school where is having trouble fitting in as the new girl. Things get even more difficult for her as she starts being haunted by scary voices and visions for her past. The expected release for this film in October 31st!!!

Haley Bennett filming Marley and Me!



Haley Bennett is on location in Pennsylvania and Florida filming the comedy Marley and Me. She co-stars with Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson in this film inspired by the book, Marley & Me by John Grogan. The film is about a reporter and his wife who adopt a Labrador puppy (Marley) and Haley plays Lisa. Her character in the film, it is unlike any other she's done before. She excitedly explained, "I might have blue hair in it. I'm hope I do. Fingers crossed!"

Haley was featured in the May issue of Nylon magazine's "Young Hollywood Issue" and was named "The Future of Film" along with thirty other rising actors and actresses. Haley Bennett named the Future of Film by NYLON magazine!

Nylon magazine's "Young Hollywood Issue" for May 2008 features IMTA alum Haley Bennett! She is named "The Future of Film" along with thirty other rising actors and actresses. During her interview, she talked about her upcoming comedic film College as well as the thriller She Lived. She's also working on a movie with inspiration from the book, Marley & Me, co-starring with Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. As for her character in the film, it is unlike any other she's done before. She excitedly explained, "I might have blue hair in it. I'm hope I do. Fingers crossed!"

Haley Bennett in She Lived

Haley Bennett just wrapped the dramatic thriller movie She Lived which is scheduled for release later this year. She plays Molly a 17 year old girl who was stabbed by her mother and although she has recovered phsyically she is still grappling with the psychological damage. Her father moves her to a new school to try to help her recover from her past trauma.

Haley, who competed at IMTA in 2001, made her feature film debut in the wildly popular movie Music and Lyrics with Hugh Grant. The Music and Lyrics soundtrack is available in the iTunes store and has tracks sung by Haley. She sings "Buddha's Delight," "Entering Bootytown," "Slam," and does a duet with Hugh Grant entitled "Way Back Into Love." From the dance melody in "Slam" to the love ballad of "Way Back Into Love," Haley demonstrates her true musical talent for audiences of all ages to enjoy. Happy Birthday to the Cover Girl of In Style, Katie Holmes!

Today is the birthday of IMTA alum, Katie Holmes and you can see her on the cover of the January 2008 issue of In Style magazine! Giorgio Armani described her by stating "Everything about Katie is refreshing. It is unusual today to find an A-list actress who also maintains an endearing quality of girl-next-door charm." The stylist for the shoot, Freddie Leiba chose clothing from Giambattista Valli, Giorgio Armani and Burberry, which fit right in to Katie's style. "I love seeing how designers put things together- from the fabrics they choose to how they structure their clothes," Katie admits.




In this photoshoot by Mark Abrahams and interview with Johanna Schneller, Katie explains how she handles being a mom, wife, and actress.

Her idea of the perfect day is to "wake up and play with our kids, create a character on a set, get on a plane, and eat dinner with other actors in another city."

Katie has grown into much more than just an actress since she competed at IMTA in 1993 and 1995. It is at IMTA where she signed with her manager Al Onorato and immediately started her acting career with the hit television show Dawson's Creek. She then moved on to feautre films such as Teaching Mrs. Tingle, Pieces of April, Batman Begins, and Thank You for Smoking. Haley Bennett's Movie Music & Lyrics Released on DVD Tuesday!!

IMTA alumni Haley Bennett's latest movie, Music and Lyrics is coming out on DVD May 8th just in time for Mother's Day. In the film, Haley portrays teen singing sensation, Cora Corman, and performs all the songs herself. Haley is currently working on an independent album and has stated that it is " SO exciting! The Music and Lyrics Soundtrack is ranked the Number One Album on ITunes.... among all of the songs, four of them are performed by yours truly, as Cora Corman."
Haley competed at the 2001 IMTA Convention where she met her agents Mara Santino and Ryan Daly of Kazarian/Spencer & Associates. She is currently filming the comedy College in New Orleans. This film is about three high school seniors who have a wild weekend while visiting a local college campus as prospective freshmen. She recently appeared in the February 2007 issue of GQ Magazine. Music and Lyrics is the perfect mother's day gift and will be available in stores May 8th!

Haley Bennett in Music and Lyrics opening today!


IMTA alum Haley Bennett makes her feature film debut in the Warner Bros. Valentine's Day event movie Music and Lyrics. Haley plays the reigning diva Cora Corman who invites Hugh Grant's character, a musician in need of a comeback, to write and record a duet with her. Drew Barrymore stars as the friend who helps him try to come up with a hit in a matter of days!
