Forever Young

This photograph was taken about ten years ago, when my husband's french grand mother was in her mid 80's (yes, 80's). That's my father-in-law on the front, who was no kid either. I was inspired to post this up today by some other photographs of older people retaining their beauty and sense of youth. By the way, she may be in her late 90's now, but she still gets dressed up and goes out on the town. Gotta love her.
If you click on the image, you will see in detail how beautiful she really is. Note the mandatory cigarette in my father-in-laws hand. The motorcycle was my husbands. The setting was where we were living, in Entrecasteaux, France.
