Alyson Stoner in NYC for Camp Rock The Final Jam Premiere

IMTA alum Alyson Stoner was in NYC this week for the premiere of Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam! The red carpet event was held at Lincoln Center! Alyson reprises her role as Caitlyn Geller in the popular Disney Channel movie. The movie is set to premiere on the Disney Channel Labor Day weekend and it will be accompanied by a four event telecast. According to JustJared the schedule is set as:

"Wednesday, September 1:– Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam available on Disney Channel on Demand for Verizon FiOS subscribers– Radio Disney presents part one of “On the Set,” a special telecast from the set of Camp Rock: 2 The Final Jam @ 6PM ET/3PM PT. It will also be available at RadioDisney.com.

Friday, September 3:– Radio Disney presents part two of “On the Set” @ 6PM ET/3PM PT plus a pre-show hosted by Ernie D that leads to the TV telecast.– The cast hosts the world premiere of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam on Disney Channel @ 8PM ET/PT with an audio simulcast on Radio Disney.– Mobile video simulcast of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam available for Flo TV, MobiTV and Sprint TV. Fans are invited to customize a page for the official Camp Rock 2 Year Book, collect mementos, access exclusive content and more on DisneyChannel.com.

Saturday, September 4:– The Rock Along edition of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam invites viewers to sing along to the songs. Lyrics will be visible on screen and at DisneyChannel.com.

Sunday, September 5:– Disney Channel presents the Sunday Dance Jam edition of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam @ 8PM ET/PT. Hosted by Demi Lovato and Jonas Brothers, it gives viewers a look at the making of the spectacular dance scenes.

Monday, September 6– Encore presentation of Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Tuesday, September 7– Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam: Extended Edition ON DVD! The Blu-ray and DVD will featuring two exclusive new music numbers — “Walking in My Shoes” and “Different Summers”. Alyson, an IMTA alum from 2000, is also starring in Step Up 3D which in theaters now! In Step Up 3D, she reprises her role as Camille from Step Up in this impressively choreographed dance movie.

IMTA Alum Alyson Stoner's Exciting News!!!

Alyson Stoner's Disney show Phineas and Ferb, who competed at IMTA in 2000, received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Special Class—Short-format Animated Programs. She provides the voice of the character Isabella for the hit Disney's cartoon. Alyson is starring in Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. Alyson recently told Seventeen Magazine, "The entire cast is coming back, and there's going to be larger roles for each of the Jonases. The music is supposedly phenomenal. There's a lot of songs for Demi, and duets between interesting characters that you wouldn't expect!" Alyson will be reprising her role as Caitlyn in this exciting new project!!!

Since competing at IMTA in 2000 Alyson has starred in many major feature films including Camp Rock, Cheaper By The Dozen movies and Alice Upside Down! Alyson is also a frequent VIP guest at IMTA who gives inspirational talks to the aspiring talent competing!

Alyson was recently in New York City on location filming “Step Up 3D” movie. Step Up 3D is about a group of young dancers training to win a "break dancing showdown." This movie is in 3-D, shot entirely in New York City and has Alyson reprising her role from the last movie! This exciting dance flick is scheduled to be released Summer of 2010.

Alyson recently produced The Alyson Stoner Project which is an original dance instructional and music fitness DVD! On Disney's latest DVD, Space Buddies Alyson performs her fantastic remake of the hit 'Dancing in the Moonlight' as one of the DVD bonus features! It's Alyson's first music video and song and it's being heard nation-wide on Radio Disney!
