Many were shocked when Sam Milby got romantically linked to KC Concepcion soon after his controversial breakup with Anne Curtis. But the dazzling star of For The First Time was quick to set the record straight in The Buzz’s P.O.V. segment last November 16.
In the interview, she stressed that there was nothing going on between her and the dashing actor. “Magkaibigan kasi kami ni Sam. Eh ‘di dapat naramdaman ko na yun ‘di ba kung [balak niya ako ligawan like what the rumors are saying]. Ang kapal naman ng mukha ko kung isipin ko na porke kinakausap ako [ibig sabihin] nanliligaw na. Porke’t lalake siya at babae ako gusto niya’ng makipagkaibigan,” she frankly said in her interview on The Buzz.
As to the rumors that she’s to blame about Sam’s decision to put space between him and Anne for now, KC unflinchingly answered, “Hindi ako involved sa kung ano’ng nangyayari sa kanila ni Anne and ayoko’ng ma-involve.” She also claimed that there’s nothing wrong if both Sam and Anne want to be friends with her. “Open ako sa lahat ng gustong makipagkaibigan including Anne. Pero kung bibigyan nila ng ibang kahulugan yun, eh ‘di sayang naman,” she noted.
Confident that she doesn’t have anything to hide, KC reiterated that there’s no reason for Anne to feel jealous of her. “Hindi ba siyempre kailangan naman trust the girls that are around you also na hindi naman sila mang-aagaw ng boyfriend or anything. Pero kung if ever lumapit yung lalake sa babae, hindi naman siguro kasalanan ng babae yun,” she said.
Whether KC and Sam’s friendship could turn into something else later on still remains to be seen. But for now, KC clearly has nothing but high hopes for the two ex-sweethearts to reconcile their differences soon. “Sana maayos nila kung ano mang kailangang ayusin nila because they are two good people naman,” she asserted.
