Sean Faris Top Selling Cover of Men's Health 2010!

IMTA's Sean Faris' cover was the best-selling Men’s Health issue of 2010! This cover sold 645,000 copies when it was on newsstands. In the magazine Sean talks about being fit and getting in shape. "Anybody can be fit. But you have to be patient. Give your body some time to adjust," Sean advises.

Sean won Junior Male Model of the Year when he competed at IMTA in 1999 and signed with Dino May Management! Sean has most recently completed films such as Brooklyn to Manhattan, The King of Fighters, Amsterdam and Signed in Blood. He can also be seen in movies such as Never Back Down, Forever Strong, Ghost Machine, Manifest Destiny, and Yours, Mine and Ours. Sean played a vampire on the hit television series The Vampire Diaries which currently stars IMTA alum 2003 Zach Roerig! Sean is in pre- production on a film called Freerunner.

IMTA Alum Sean Faris in The Wyoming Project

IMTA's Sean Faris has landed the lead in The Wyoming Project Amy Sherman-Palladino's drama pilot for the CW. The show is about 22-year-old Gideon Thorpe played by Sean, a horse trainer who becomes the patriarch of a Wyoming ranch responsible for his three younger sisters after their parents die.Sean won Junior Male Model of the Year when he competed at IMTA in 1999 and signed with Dino May Managment! Since IMTA, Sean has most recently completed films such as Brooklyn to Manhattan, The King of Fighters, Amsterdam and Signed in Blood due for 2010. Sean can also be seen in movies such as Never Back Down, Forever Strong, Ghost Machine, Manifest Destiny, and Yours, Mine and Ours. Recently Sean has been playing a vmapire on the hit television series The Vampire Diaries!

Spend New Years Day Watching IMTA Stars' DVDs!


Over the past year IMTA alums have participated in an extensive array of fabulous projects. We wanted to give you some ideas for relaxing and welcoming in the New Year! Here are some suggestions of IMTA alum's movies now out on DVD:


IMTA alum Sean Faris' feature film Forever Strong is now out on DVD! This awesome movie won an MTV Movie Award for BEST FIGHT in 2008! Sean won Junior Male Model of the Year when he competed at IMTA in 1999. Sean recently joined the cast of CW's runaway hit TV Vampire Diaries as Ben, an ex-high school football player and bartender at the local Mystic Grill. Ashton Kutcher, IMTA New York 1997, film Personal Effects is out on DVD. When Ashton competed he went head to head with IMTA alum and superstar Josh Duhamel. Ashton won Most Sought After Male Model, signed with Next Models and went straight to Fashion week!
IMTA alum '94 and superstar Jessica Biel's feature film, Easy Virtue is out on DVD. Jessica's latest project, an animated film called Planet 51, is in theaters now. Jessica is working on two new films Valentine's Day and The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Jessica's film Powder Blue is also out on DVD! IMTA alum Raini Rodriguez's movie Paul Blart Mall Cop is now out on DVD. In this hilarious new film, Raini portrays Maya, daughter of Paul Blart played by The King of Queens star Kevin James. Raini is currently working on a new TV series called I'm in the Band.Lauren Storm's movie I Love You Beth Cooper is now out on DVD! In this movie, Lauren plays Treece Kilmer, one of the best friends of the lead, Hayden Panettiere, who plays the title role of Beth Cooper. Lauren just finished working on the film The Inner Circle.

Josh Duhamel IMTA '97 starred in the biggest film of the summer, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. When Josh competed at IMTA, he was awarded the prestigious title of Male Model of the Year! Josh edged out fellow competitor Ashton Kutcher to win the big prize. My Sister's Keeper starring Sofia Vassilieva IMTA 2000, is now out on DVD! When she competed she won Child Model of the Year! This heart wrenching film won the Choice Summer Movie Drama Award! Sofia is a series regular on the hit TV drama Medium.

Sean Faris on the cover of Men's Health!


February 2010 Men's Health features IMTA alum Sean Faris in the first shirtless cover in three years! Sean talks about being fit and getting in shape. "Anybody can be fit. But you have to be patient. Give your body some time to adjust," Sean advises.
For roles like Never Back Down and Forever Strong, he had to become a hockey or rugby player and getting in shape was crucial. Sean can also be seen in movies such as Ghost Machine, Manifest Destiny, and Yours, Mine and Ours.

Sean also uses his fighting and martial art skills in the television series The Vampire Diaries!

Sean won Junior Male Model of the Year when he competed at IMTA in 1999 and signed with Dino May Managment! Since IMTA, Sean has most recently completed films such as Brooklyn to Manhattan, The King of Fighters, Amsterdam and Signed in Blood due for 2010.

IMTA Alum Sean Faris on The Vampire Diaries!

Sean Faris recently joined the cast of Vampire Diaries as Ben, an ex-high school football player and bartender at the local Mystic Grill. Ben befriends Matt Donovan, (played by another IMTA alum Zach Roerig), when Matt goes looking for a job at the restaurant. Ben becomes intertwined with Matt and his group of friends while becoming enchanted by one of the girls on the show.

Sean won Junior Male Model of the Year when he competed at IMTA in 1999 and signed with Dino May Managment! Since IMTA, Sean has starred in films such as Forever Strong, Never Back Down, and the television series Smallville.

Sean Faris in Forever Strong!


IMTA alum Sean Faris' feature film Forever Strong is now out on DVD! This awesome movie won an MTV Movie Award for BEST FIGHT in 2008! E! Some of his past projects include the motion picture Pearl Harbor, the TV show Reunion, Life as We Know It, and the feature film Sleepover with two IMTA alums, Kallie Childress and Mika Boorem. Sean has been featured in several memorable campaigns and magazines, including Abercrombie & Fitch, GQ, Teen Vogue and Armani. Sean is in production on the film The Glass Eye. He not only plays the lead character Danny but he is also producing it with his manager, Dino May. He is in post-production on three films: Brooklyn to Manhattan, Ghost Machine and King of Fighters.

Sean Faris is filming a new movie!

Sean Faris on location in Ireland filming the lead role in a new movie called Ghost Machine. Sean also has a new feature film Forever Strong opening September 26. It is about rugby player whose team competes against another team which is coached by his father. Sean plays Rick Penning in this sport centered drama. Sean's last movie Never Back Down won an MTV Movie Award for BEST FIGHT. E! Online said, "Best Fight each went to duos who may not yet be household names but could very well be one day if looks and chemistry have anything to do with it."

Alyson Stoner and Sean Faris' Movies out on DVD!


Get to the video store today and check out two new IMTA alum's movies: Sean Faris in Never Back Down and Alyson Stoner in Alice Upside Down now out on dvd! Sean competed at IMTA in 1999 and won Junior Male Model of the Year and he has been working in the industry ever since. He just won an MTV movie award for BEST FIGHT for Never Back Down. Alyson Stoner competed at IMTA in 2000 where she impressed the agents with her acting abilities. From her starring roles in feature films such as wildly popular Camp Rock to the Cheaper by the Dozen movies to dancing and touring with Missy Elliott, Alyson is a super star. She co-hosted Mike's SuperShort Show on the Disney channel, played the recurring character Max in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, as well as voicing the character of Isabella in Disney's animated hit Phineas & Ferb. Alyson has a new project called GetFitWithAlyson.com where she does exercises that use the Wii Fit and has a forum to discuss teen issues. Alyson just landed a role in the animated movie called Kung Fu Magoo.

Sean Faris on People Magazine Bachelor list!

Sean Faris is featured in People Magazine’s special annual Most Eligible issue in a "Hot Bachelors: Short n Sweet" list. It's a round up of the hottest up and coming actors, celebrities who are in their words,"these clean cut guys are the cream of the crop." Check the June 20th issue of People Magazine for more details! Sean Faris is starring in a new movie called Never Back Down which just won an MTV movie award for BEST FIGHT. Sean plays Danny in this crime thriller. He recently wrapped the feature film From Brooklyn to Manhattan where he plays a character named Logan.

IMTA Alums clean up at the MTV Movie Awards!



Sean Faris has won an MTV movie award for BEST FIGHT in Never Back Down and Josh Duhamel's Transformers:The Movie won BEST MOVIE at the MTV movie awards which aired on Sunday. E Online said, "Best Fight each went to duos who may not yet be household names but could very well be one day if looks and chemistry have anything to do with it." The fight that won Sean this popular award was for his big martial arts style fight in the film. Josh starred as Captain Lennox in Transformers:The Movie and it was just announced that he will reprise that role in Transformers 2.


Josh won Male Model of the Year at IMTA in 1997 . After IMTA, Josh's first acting job playing the title character in The Picture of Dorian Gray and then he was cast as Leo du Pres on All My Children which won him a Daytime Emmy in 2002. Josh went on to star as Danny McCoy on the hit series Las Vegas which aired on NBC for five seasons. Josh has been working on the romantic comedy film When in Rome as well as starting to work on Transformers 2.

Sean Faris Stars in Never Back Down in Theaters Now!


Sean Faris is starring in a new movie called Never Back Down which was produced by Summit Entertainment and is premiering in theaters today! This movie tells the story of a teenager who gets into an underground fight club at his new school. Sean plays Jake, a new and unpopular teen in town. When he starting studying with the local martial arts master and learns self defense, he protects not only himself but also the geeks from the bullies. Along the way, he also learns many other important life skills such as patience, discipline, and maturity.

Sean competed at IMTA in 1999 and won Junior Male Model of the Year and he has been working in the industry ever since. Currently Sean is filming the lead role in The Glass Eye which he is also producing with his manager Dino May. Sean Faris in Never Back Down

Sean Faris to Film Get Some.

Sean Faris is preparing to start shooting the film Get Some this July in Los Angeles. This movie tells the story of a teenager who gets into an underground fight club at his new school. Sean competed at IMTA in 1999 and won Junior Male Model of the Year and he has been working in the industry ever since.

Currently Sean is filming the lead role in The Glass Eye which he is also producing with his manager Dino May. Some of his projects include the recently wrapped dramatic motion picture Brooklyn to Manhattan, about a drug deal gone bad, the TV show Reunion which is about friends who gather for their 20th high school reunion and one is murdered and the cult classic Life as We Know It. He starred in the feature film Forever Strong and played Rick, the lead character who is a troubled young man who loses his position as the star of an Arizona Rugby team after being sentenced to a boy's home in Salt Lake. Other movies he starred in include Sleepover with two IMTA alums, Kallie Childress and Mika Boorem and the movie Pearl Harbor. He has been featured in several memorable campaigns and magazines, including Abercrombie & Fitch, GQ, Teen Vogue and Armani. Look for Sean's film Brooklyn to Manhattan coming to theaters soon and catch an encore viewing of the movie Sleepover this weekend June 16!!

Sean Faris and Mateo Arias in an Encore Presentation of Yours, Mine, and Ours this Saturday!

Be sure to catch the encore presentation of Yours, Mine and Ours starring two IMTA alums Sean Faris and Mateo Arias this Saturday May 26 on Showtime. This is a comical story about a blended family of eighteen children and all the drama, fun, and chaos that happens when their newly married parents try to raise the kids let alone children from different families. The the problems start as the two groups of kids, the free spirits and the conservative preppies, must live together. The warring factions agree to work together to end the marriage. In this hilarious movie Sean Faris plays William Beardsley and Mateo plays one of the bullies.

Sean competed at IMTA in 1999 and won Junior Male Model of the Year. He has worked both on the big and little screen. Some of his projects include the TV show Reunion which is about friends who gather for their 20th high school reunion when one is murdered they all become suspects and the cult classic Life as We Know It. He starred in the feature film Forever Strong and played Rick, the lead character. Mateo competed at IMTA in 2005 with his brother Moises. Since competing he has been working in television, motion pictures, theater, and commericals. He has guest starred in popular Disney TV show Drake and Josh. He and his brother recently acted in a played called Water And Power which ran at the Mark Taper Theater in Los Angeles. Mateo has been very busy filming national commercials such as Round Table Pizza, Snickers Bars and a commercial for Father's Day. Don't miss this hilarious family comedy this weekend!

Sean Faris booked the lead in a new film!


IMTA 1999 Junior Male Model of the Year Sean Faris has booked the lead in an independent film, Brooklyn to Manhattan. It sounds like a great plot; IMDB states, "Four people run for their lives in the Brooklyn subway tunnels after a botched drug deal." Sean will play Logan in the thriller set for release in 2008.

Faris competed at IMTA in 1999 where he won Junior Male Model of the Year. He started modeling immediately and was featured in several memorable campaigns, including Abercrombie & Fitch and Armani. Faris successfully transitioned into acting and starred on television in the cult classics Life as We Know It and Reunion. He also starred in the feature films Sleepover (with two other IMTA alums, Kallie Childress and Mika Boorem) and Yours, Mine and Ours (with IMTA alum Mateo Arias). His next feature film release Forever Strong has wrapped and is tentatively scheduled for release in 2007.

IMTA trivia: Sean is also friends with another IMTA alum, Eva Longoria. Here's a photo of them together at the 7th Annual Young Hollywood Awards in 2005.
